To Color or Not to Color: Matching Chocolate Fountains to Event Decors
Who says chocolate can only live in brown-and-white hues? Sephra takes chocolate Technicolor with oil-based coloring options that allow you to tint white chocolate in various hues. Consider complementing the event color scheme and livening up an already delicious display of chocolate.
Know Your Color Options
If you have a chocolate fountain rental business, then be the first to offer colored chocolate options in your area to clients. Any type of party or gathering could benefit from colored chocolate, from seasonal colors to matching the décor or color scheme of a wedding, for example.
You can choose from blue, yellow, orange, pink, red, green and violet. These colors are oil-based and won't detract from the already delicious flavor of Sephra's white chocolate. They produce rich colors, but can be tempered to produce lighter pastels if a bolder hue isn't appropriate.
How to Use Colors in Chocolate Fountain Displays
Any of these colors could be the main focal point of the chocolate fountain station, but they can also serve as accents. Perhaps your client is hosting a large spring wedding. You could offer the use of two chocolate fountains, one large and one medium, both to feed the number of guests and to create an interesting display. Perhaps the larger one will contain dark chocolate while the medium-sized fountain will contain white chocolate tinted violet or pink, for example. This is especially relevant if the wedding is using a modern color palette combining chocolate brown and a pastel hue. Simply echo that pastel hue used in the wedding decor to the chocolate fountain display. This will impress guests and really tie in the color scheme for a seamless, high-style look.
If an event's color scheme is lackluster, consider introducing an appropriate color to liven up the atmosphere and contrast with a black and white color palette. If it's a winter holiday party, you could offer a deep green or red tint for a festive air and to give the event a punch of color. This is especially relevant for a corporate party, for example, that might take place in a hotel ballroom or in the office building and consequently not offer much in terms of color or decoration.
Take photos of any event that uses colored chocolate so you can show unimaginative clients the possibilities. You'll not only be able to offer the delicious opportunity of using a Sephra chocolate fountain, but a unique and creative approach that will impress and garner you additional new business.
