Candy Clay Gives Melano Dipping Candy a Delicious New Purpose

Melano chocolate is no longer just for delicious chocolate for chocolate fountains, but can be used to make candy clay. Candy clay is easy to make and fun to work with, allowing you to release your full inner creativity!

All you need to start are one pound of melano dipping candy, which is melano chocolate for chocolate fountains, and one-third cup of light corn syrup. Then, you’re on your way to fun candy clay creations made from high-quality melano chocolate for chocolate fountains.

Simply melt the melano dipping candy over low heat in a pan, and once melted, add corn syrup and heat thoroughly while stirring to blend. After the corn syrup and melano chocolate are blended, pour the mixture out on wax paper and leave it at room temperature to dry, preferably overnight. Then, wrap in plastic wrap and store in an air tight container or resealable bag. Candy clay can be stored at room temperature for several weeks, or to preserve it longer, in the refrigerator.

Using Candy Clay is Easy and Fun When it Contains Melano Chocolate

When you want to create fun candy clay creations for a dessert, such as cheerful daisies for Mother’s Day cupcakes or hearts to adorn a romantic cake, simply cut off a portion of the candy clay and knead until it’s pliable. It’s best to lightly dust your work surface with cornstarch if you choose to roll out the candy clay so it doesn’t stick. If the candy clay gets too soft to work with, simply put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes to harden.

Candy clay can easily be tinted with oil-based color designed especially for this purpose. You simply add the color to the portion of candy clay you’re working with, and knead it until the color is uniform, adjusting the depth of color by adding more if necessary.

The high-quality melano dipping candy helps make this candy clay easy to use and gives it a good consistency. No one will guess that your melano chocolate for chocolate fountains is the reason your desserts are so creatively adorned with professional-looking shapes that exist simply from combining corn syrup with melano dipping candy.
