Sephra Belgian Dark Hot Drinking Chocolate is 100% Belgian chocolate, unconched and low-processed to create wonderful chocolate drinks and shakes with a full-bodied, rich and solid taste. Perfectly soluble in hot dairy and non-dairy milks, Sephra Belgian Dark Hot Drinking Chocolate combines the wealth of authentic and overwhelming chocolate taste with great convenience in serving for busy bars and baristas.
It easily steams up, together with milk and creates a wonderfully frothy cup of pure indulgence. Each cup is a great source of cocoa flavanols naturally preserved through very delicate processing of the cocoa beans to lift our spirits with a boost of happiness and positive energy.
Serving Suggestions
Dose and steam up with milk for perfect taste and froth or chill with ice cubes after steaming for refreshing summer drinks.
For a mild taste add 35g (3 tblsp) to 200ml of Milk.
For an intense taste add 50g (4 tblsp) to 200ml of Milk.
Minimum Cocoa 48.2%
Add Hot Milk at 72˚C / 162˚F or Cold Milk & Steam up to 72˚C / 162˚F.
Alternatively serve chilled by pouring the hot chocolate into a glass filled with ice cubes for a refreshingly wholesome Belgian Couverture Chocolate drink.

Delicious Hot Chocolate

This is my second purchase and once again, I am delighted with this hot chocolate. The smooth and rich chocolate flavour is always a treat and I can say it is quite an indulgent drink. The only method I’ve tried is the velvetiser and it has done a great job: the result is hot chocolate with a silky texture and pronounced frothing. I assume the hob or microwave should be just as effective since the chocolate tastes incredible regardless of the preparation method. The 1kg size is quite big and offers great value based on quality. You will not regret it, whether you are making a hot chocolate for yourself or entertaining guests. Highly recommend!

Honestly quite addictive drinking this. Can’t wait to use with my Salter hot chocolate maker. It’s quite sweet. Not dark enough for some dark hot chocolate lovers.

This is a delicious hot chocolate, I made it in my generic velvetiser type appliance. Particularly good with a shot of espresso and sticky toffee rum. I will be buying again

Decided to try this as it was such a good price for a 1kg bag. Quite fine flakes, so melt into the milk very nicely. A much cheaper alternative to use in a velvitizer to the prope Hotel Chocolat offerings and a great go-to hot chocolate. With the flakes being quite fine, it doesn't clog the vellvitizer and is easy to clean. The Dark is not too bitter, and would probably suit pretty much anyone! Great value, so certainly worth a try!
